Carola Neumann, MD, PhD
Associate Professor of Pharmacology & Chemical Biology
Dr. Neumann received her MTA (comparable to baccalaureate degree) as Medical Technical Research Assistant, Naturwissenschaftliches Technikum Landau, i.d. Pfalz, Germany, 1989, and her Medical Degree from Ludwig-Maximilian's University, Medical School, Munich, Germany, 1997. Dr. Neumann worked as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the Medical University of South Carolina, specializing in Cell and Molecular Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics, prior to joining the WCRC.
The Neumann Lab interests are Breast cancer, cell signaling and Peroxiredoxin. Her work was recently published in Oncogene Turner-Ivey et al., Oncogene. 2013, Jan 21. doi: 10.1038/onc.2012.624. [Epub ahead of print].
