ADMINISTRATIVE CORE

Core Co-Leaders: Jill M. Siegfried, PhD; William L. Bigbee, PhD;Ethan Argiris, MD

The objective of the Administrative Core is to provide both scientific and fiscal management to ensure the success of the Lung Cancer SPORE. The Core oversees day-to-day operations and also coordinates periodic administrative and scientific reviews. Core personnel coordinate their activities with those of the University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute (UPCI), the Departments and Schools whose faculty are participating in the SPORE research, and with outside institutions. The Core assists individual research projects and cores and fosters interactions among projects and with related research on-going outside the Lung Cancer SPORE.
