Mission Statement

The Society for Natural Immunity was established in 1991 and functions to provide a strong and stable focus for interactions among investigators interested in a wide range of issues related to natural immunity, and for stimulation of progress in our understanding of the natural immune system.

The main objectives of the Society are:

Organization of annual symposia or workshops focused on the immunobiology and clinical significance of natural killer (NK) cells, other natural effector cells and natural antibodies. The Society will provide a formal structure to continue the already established tradition of successful meetings focused on this area of research, as exemplified in the past international meetings.
Dissemination of information and research findings related to natural immunity.
Consideration of nomenclature and other scientific issues.
