Co-Leader,
Comprehensive Breast Cancer Program

The mission of the UPCI Comprehensive Breast Cancer Program is to advance the understanding and treatment of breast cancer through basic and clinical research. Our activities investigate the hormonal and genetic etiology of breast cancer in order to enrich the treatment and prevention strategies available to clinicians and their patients. Our program also places emphasis on providing enhanced consultation and treatment options to breast cancer patients, and has implemented clinical trials to investigate innovative detection, treatment and management options.

Patient care is delivered by the Magee Breast Cancer Program of UPMC Cancer Centers, where we strive to provide state-of-the-art treatments and therapies, to be an educational resource for patients and the community, and to provide an environment that stimulates excellence in cancer research through our clinical trials.
