Cancer 'Top Docs' Are Almost All UPMC Cancer Centers Oncologists in Pittsburgh Magazine Annual Survey
Pittsburgh, PA April 29, 2010 – UPMC Cancer Centers oncologists swept the Pittsburgh Magazine annual “Top Docs” list, a selection of the region’s top physicians, categorized by specialty and compiled by Castle Connolly Medical Ltd. The list is published in the May issue of the magazine, available on newsstands today.
29 UPMC Cancer Centers oncologists were chosen as "Top Docs"; in the categories of Gynecologic Oncology, Radiation Oncology, and Medical Oncology, UPMC Cancer Centers doctors represented almost 80% of the selected oncologists. Overall, of the 159 physicians on the Top Docs list, 123 are UPMC physicians.
