The Clinical Genomics and Immunoproteomics Facility (CGIF) is a shared resource facility sponsored by the Department of Pathology and the University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute (UPCI) that provides both UPMC and University of Pittsburgh investigators and their collaborators with access to platforms for performing genomic and proteomic analyses.
The CGIF works closely with the tissue banking component of the Tissue and Research Pathology Services (TARPS) and can serve as a "one stop shop" for your study needs- from study design consultation, sample acquisition via the tissue bank or our cell culture facility, to microarrays and proteomics assays and then data analysis.
