Membership Application Process

  1. Please complete the UPCI Membership application available here .
  2. Upon receipt of a completed application package:

    a. All information is forwarded to the appropriate program leader(s) for review. Applicants may be asked to meet with the program leader to discuss the applicant's role in UPCI.

    b. The program leader prepares a brief recommendation indicating the applicant's qualifications and commitment to cancer research, the potential to make significant contributions to UPCI, and the potential for obtaining peer-reviewed funding and/or contributing to basic, translational, and/or clinical research at UPCI.

    c. All application materials are reviewed by the Research Leadership Committee for final approval by the Director of UPCI. Applicants are informed by letter of the Director's decision regarding UPCI membership.
