Equipment
The Facility currently occupies 450 square feet, and it has all the equipment necessary to conduct the previously-described research and for teaching purposes. The state-of-the-art research equipment includes tissue culture hoods and incubators, polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis and western blotting apparatus, plate reader, plate washer, centrifuges, refrigerators, water baths, balances, and a digital imaging system. In addition, as part of UPCI, TRF has access to all of the major equipment at Hillman Cancer Center Research Pavilion, including microscopes, ultracentrifuges, bacterial incubators, and environmental shakers.
