Services

  1. Consultation concerning assay development, experimental design, and analysis is available to UPCI investigators without charge.
  2. The Luminex Core Facility's services (see Fee Structure) include analyzing self-processed and facility-processed 96-well plate assays.
    The quality of commercial kits is ensured by the manufacturing company only. Customers are encouraged to make an informed decision about the purchase of the most appropriate kit for their use.
  3. Assay development is offered on a no-guarantee basis. Once the assay is fully developed, quality control (i.e. sensitivity, specificity, %CV, % recovery from sample and correlation with appropriate ELISA) will be provided as a guarantee of quality.
  4. The Luminex Core Facility offers a range of core-developed Luminex assays that have been validated to QC standards.
