Education and Training Overview

The University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute (UPCI) is committed to the education and training of both new cancer researchers and experienced investigators. In conjunction with the University of Pittsburgh, UPCI offers a number of opportunities for pre- and post-doctoral students to participate in training grants or training programs. UPCI faculty members are actively involved in coordinating these training programs and as PIs for these training grants. Established investigators also work closely with junior faculty members through the UPCI Mentoring Program. UPMC Cancer Centers and UPCI also offer education in cancer-related topics for health care professionals.
