CCSG Acknowledgement

Required CCSG Acknowledgement

The NCI requires that publications acknowledge the UPCI CCSG support, and they are tracking compliance. If a UPCI CCSG-supported Shared Facility provided data used in your publication, please include the following statement in the acknowledgment section of your publication(s):

"This project used the UPCI [insert name(s) of shared facility(ies)] that [is/are] supported in part by award P30CA047904."

Shared Facility Directors: Please make sure to include this statement on all of your order forms, contracts, etc. as a reminder to your users to acknowledge the UPCI CCSG support.


Fee Structure

The CTIF is supported through institutional and programmatic grants, as well as through collaborative investigator grants or subcontracts on CTIF user grants. Occasionally, infrequent microscopy users are billed at a calculated hour rate for technical expertise and equipment time. This structure allows new CTIF users to generate preliminary data in preparation for future grant submissions. In general, occasional chargeback users are not trained in the methods or instruments within the facility. Therefore, most of their studies have to be performed by facility staff to optimize results and to avoid damage to instrumentation.
