Mass spectrometry is an indispensable tool for the analysis and identification of proteins. The CBF provides a rapid protein identification service that sequences proteins present in SDS-PAGE gels by high-sensitivity nanoLC-MS/MS. The service can be used to identify a single protein from an excised gel band, or sequence thousands of proteins present in an individual lane of a gel.
