Overview
The Cancer Biomarkers Facility (CBF) provides UPCI researchers with direct access to genomic and proteomic services for the discovery and translation of molecular biomarkers that:
- advance the current understanding of disease
- drive the development of diagnostic tests; and
- enable the testing of new therapies in the clinic
The CBF is composed of multiple laboratories that support targeted and systems-level investigations of cancer biology with fully integrated bioinformatics and data analysis/interpretation support. Drs. William LaFramboise and Nathan Yates co-direct the CBF, and are supported by a high performance team of experts that develop and apply rapidly evolving technologies.
